THE WORKS ART & DESIGN FESTIVAL
The Works Art & Design Festival runs June 21 through July 1 in and around Downtown Edmonton. Check out the impressive array of visual art pieces, many of which will be set up in Churchill Square!
The festival includes some fun, FREE drop-in activities for kids, including a chance to make Craft Charms on Saturday and daily art projects in the Ground Works Garden.

THE WALL AT STANLEY A. MILNER LIBRARY
Have you checked out the giant, interactive digital screen known as “The Wall” at Edmonton’s Stanley A. Milner Library? This weekend’s schedule features “The Living Reef” on Friday, “Space” on Saturday, and our favourite “Local Student Games” on Sunday! Drop in during library hours to play!
If you’re heading to The Works festival in Churchill Square and need to get out of the sun/heat/rain, pop over to the Library and play a game!

MUTTART CONSERVATORY
A new feature pyramid is making its debut at the Muttart Conservatory. On Saturday morning the doors will open to “Imagination”, a pyramid that promises magical summer fun!
Did you know that the giant “Edmonton” sign has left Churchill Square and is now located at the Muttart Conservatory for the summer?!? Check it out before it heads back to its regular location in November!

TELUS WORLD OF SCIENCE – EDMONTON
Have you yet visited the feature exhibition “Stardust: the Universe in You“? Learn about your connection to the Universe, walk through an exploding supernova and colour your own galaxy and see it come to life in space! It’s the perfect weekend to check out this exhibition and pair it with a screening of “Space: the New Frontier” in IMAX!
Did you know the IMAX theatre at the science centre offers sensory screenings? The sound is a little lower and the house lights are kept a little brighter. This Sunday catch “Blue Whales: Return of the Giants” in a sensory screening at 10am!

FORT EDMONTON PARK
Fort Edmonton Park has fun activities scheduled for every weekend! This weekend check out the “Stuffy Trapline” from 10:30am-12pm (set a trapline and see what kind of stuffed animal you can catch!”) and Bannock-making from 3pm-4:45pm.

KIDS BOWL FREE
Summer is here! It’s not too late to sign up for the Kids Bowl Free program! Kids can get up to 2 free games of bowling every day of the Summer – You just have to pay for shoe rentals! There is also an option to upgrade to a family pass. The program is now running at 4 Edmonton & area locations.
